Latin America saw notable trends in the Maps and Navigation category during the first quarter of 2025. Here’s a look at the top five applications on the unified platform, showcasing their performance in terms of weekly downloads and active users.

Uber - Request a ride saw a consistent pattern in weekly downloads, starting at around 760K at the beginning of January and peaking at 804K mid-February. By the end of March, downloads slightly decreased to approximately 667K. Weekly active users started the quarter at 40M, experiencing a gradual rise to about 47M by the end of March.

Waze Navigation & Live Traffic experienced a decline in weekly downloads from 580K at the start of January to 406K by the end of March. The active user base was relatively stable, beginning at 42M and ending the quarter with around 41M users.
